With two different styles, we have the perfect pet turf to meet your needs! The Architectural Series has slightly longer blades and more closely resembles real grass for areas you want a more-natural look. It’s beautiful and realistic like real grass for retail type installations, multi-family projects, and other projects where dogs use the turf area but you also want the area to look like natural grass. For high-performance areas such as doggie daycares and boarding facilities, see the Sports Performance Series with shorter blades and a higher-permeable backing.

Cool Dog Turf comes in 15′ W rolls that can be cut to the length(s) needed.

Easy for contractors to install. It is advisable that the temperature be at least 55 degrees for proper installation as the seam glue generally requires minimum temperature for proper setting.

Installation Notes:

  • Turf rolls come in 15′ of width but the design should allow for the sides to be stapled and trimmed and tucked, so planning for 14′ wide increments is best
  • Shape, level, grade and prep area – excavate approximately 3-4″ inches
  • Fill excavated area with small gravel – approximately 3/8″ inches – ensure the center is slightly above grade or level (not below)
  • Compact gravel well so the surface is firm and not loose
  • Roll turf out so patterns match, allow turf to lay flat and take shape, and stretch turf so it fits snugly
  • Apply seam tape along the seams, apply seam glue (use green seam glue if available), and put weight on the seam to allow turf to adhere
  • Once seam glue has dried, stretch the turf and adhere to the border boards, trimming around any necessary items before stapling
  • Trim and tuck any excess turf materials. Enjoy and Play!

Periodically clean the turf, and if heavily used, you can spray the turf with an organic pet-friendly cleaner (we recommend ProVet Logic).
